We believe every baby deserves the best start in life
Tommy's, the baby charity, exists to ensure every baby is given the best chance of being born healthy. They believes that it is unacceptable that one in four women loses a baby every year and is helping to the find the answers through research and helping women to know more. By 2030 Tommy’s wants to halve the number of babies who die during pregnancy or birth.
Tommy’s provides support in addition to its research, Tommy’s runs a pregnancy information service – midwives are available to answer any pregnancy questions by telephone or email, as well as providing pregnancy publications free of charge. Tommy’s provides support to over one hundred families each week including pregnant women, their partners, friends and families, and women trying to conceive. ASDA and Tommy's
ASDA has supported Tommy's, the baby charity, for ten years. During this time we have raised almost £2million through a range of activities, from pin badge sales, to staff fundraising.
How our pin badges help
ASDA's pin badge sales make an enormous contribution to Tommy's and its cause, enabling the charity to continue funding research and providing vital information to pregnant women.
Buy a Peppa Pig badge in store
This year ASDA is selling exclusive Peppa Pig badges in all our stores and at just £1 each, with 74p from the sale going to Tommy's, it's easy for all our customers to make a contribution to the Tommy's campaign. The four characters available are Ballerina Peppa, Spaceman George, Danny Dog and Candie Cat.
